Yoga in Schools

Supporting emotional wellbeing, regulation and resilience in young people

20-minute call to discuss yoga in your school

Helping students feel more settled focused and supported

Young people today are navigating increasing levels of pressure.

Socially, emotionally and academically.

Friendship dynamics, social media, school expectations, identity changes and family environments can all contribute to stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.

Many students are not taught how to understand their emotions, regulate stress, or feel safe within themselves.

Yoga in schools offers a practical, accessible way to support students in developing these skills - helping them feel more grounded, more focused, and more able to navigate challenges.

Sessions are designed to support

  • emotional regulation and resilience

  • focus, concentration and classroom engagement

  • reduced stress and anxiety

  • body awareness and self-regulation

  • confidence and emotional wellbeing

Students are guided through simple, practical tools they can use both in and out of the classroom.

What a session may include

Sessions are adapted to suit the age group, environment, and needs of the students.

They may include:

  • gentle, accessible movement

  • breathwork and calming techniques

  • nervous system regulation tools

  • grounding and relaxation practices

  • simple mindfulness and awareness exercises

Sessions are engaging, supportive, and designed to meet students where
they are - without pressure or expectation.

Why this matters in schools

Schools play an important role not just in academic development, but in supporting emotional wellbeing

These sessions help students:

  • better understand their emotions

  • regulate their responses

  • feel more settled within themselves

  • improve focus and participation

  • develop greater confidence and resilience

Without practical tools to manage stress and emotions, many students can feel overwhelmed, reactive, or disengaged.
